Only two AZ Reps made laws this year

Interesting note from the Tucson Citizen:

Congress introduces some 5,000 new bills each year, fewer than 5 percent of which are signed into law. Arizona’s eight congressmen and two senators combined to introduce 167 bills in 2005 and managed to get 20 of them passed in both chambers of Congress, according to The Arizona Republic.

Two of them became law.

One was Republican Jim Kolbe’s spending package for foreign operations.

The other was Grijalva’s Colorado River Indian Reservation Boundary Correction Act.

Shadegg’s high-risk healthcare pool bill got close… passed the Senate with an amendment…

What? They are not putting Regan’s picture on the $10 bill? It’s an outrage.
