Harry Mitchell and Terry Goddard are hosting a free shred-a-thon on March 31 (next Saturday) from 8 a.m. to noon… they’re inviting the public to bring their old tax and other sensitive documents down for shredding, and will give a presentation on identity theft starting at 9. Here’s the where:

While Congressman Mitchell is shredding documents on Saturday, March 31, he can toss in my request for information from the Dept. of Labor about a discriminatory ruling from the OFCCP. It seem that I am not the veteran de jour that is his committee is concerned with. The unsigned letter of March 21, 2007 regarding my request for information to the Congressman ended with”…further inquiries from this office would not be productive.”
Is the Dept. of Labor the C.I.A. or the F.B.I. that they can refuse to answer questions put to them by a Congressman? Just ask the questions I bullet pointed with a strong recommendation that they be answered. Let’s have a letter that pays more that lip service to protecting veterans rights. And please SIGN your next letter.
