Kyl, Giffords return from Iraq

GiffordsJon Kyl “returned feeling more optimistic than he did after a previous trip to the country,” according to the Arizona Republic:

“Our commanders now are much more confident because they’ve got a specific strategy that they are now pursuing that they can see has the potential for success,” Kyl said.

Meanwhile, the Tucson Citizen is reporting that Gabrielle Giffords still opposes the surge:

A surge can temporarily drive out insurgents or drive them underground,” she said. “It’s not a long-term solution.”

Representative Gifford has turned her vote over to a person whose district is anti-military. I hope she remembers she has 2 military bases in her district. In Pelosi’s district:

    1. No more ROTC, sends the wrong message.
    2. A protest against the military policy on gays (actually a democratic policy, don’t ask, don’t tell), no military recruiters in high schools.
    3. Did not allow the USS IOWA as a floating museum in San Francisco, sends the wrong message.

Who’s the Liar? I guess Kyl since even Bush said the same as McCain.

This is a country that had a million man army drop it’s weapons and uniforms then head home. Arabs fight for thousand years. Kyl can’t keep a thought for a few seconds.
