From CyberCast News Service:
Congress will support Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice in her “wait-and-see” approach to the Palestinians, visiting Sen. Jon Kyl (R-Ariz.) said here on Monday.
“Israel does not have a partner for peace. We will have to wait and see how the new Palestinian government is organized,” Kyl said in an interview with the Jerusalem Post.
Last week, the House of Representatives, requesting clarification, froze an $86-million White House funding request to strengthen forces loyal to Abbas. The Israeli military objected to the funding.
…
Kyl said it is not up to the U.S. or Israel to take any initiative at this time but it is the responsibility of the Palestinians to do so. Some people want the U.S. to exert more influence on the Palestinians, “but the U.S. doesn’t have much influence on the Palestinians,” he said.
“What they really mean is that they want the U.S. to convince Israel to make more concessions,” and the U.S. won’t do that, he said.

Stupid America…
Israel sits on the beach while America fights a proxy war with the countries that hate them. They collect Billions in foreign aid to subsidize their social welfare medicine and subsidized housing in Israel and the West Bank.
The United States and Congo Rice pushing the American plans for a “new Middle East” has led only to violence, loss of moderate states and repression.
When will Congo Rice go to Egypt and demand open elections? I am sure the Islamic Brotherhood would not stand by while Israel kidnaps elected representatives of a democratic nation like they did after the Palestine election.
Democracy in the Middle East, bull! If you democratically elect a government, like Lebanon, be ready to get bombed by Israel.
Your Tax dollars at work.
I think the lesson in Lebanon was: if you launch an attack at Israel and kidnap their soldiers they will respond with force.
Did I miss something? What happened to the two “heroic” Israel soldiers who were the excuse to start the illegal invasion of Lebanon?
With another failure in Lebanon, the Saudi Sheik Osama Bin Laden appointed another proxy to represent his group in Lebanon. Bush has created more hate for America and Terrorist in the world with his failed cowboy policies. The lesson was Israel has no respect for any other government except its own. It is a law unto itself.
Someone needs to stand up to the repressive state of Israel. We all know peaceful means have been blocked by the US in the UN Security council when countries have tried to condemn Israel for Human Rights violations. I guess the only option for Palestinians and Lebanon Freedom Fighters is to take up the gun. That’s what we would do in America.

Someone should remind kyl he no longer speaks for the majority, thank god, and he and his cronies are a major laughing stock of America.
Crooked republicans still claiming if you do not support their failed policies, you support terrorism, get a life morons.
