From the Weiss camp: “Former Tucson Mayor Tom Volgy has endorsed Democrat Patty Weiss to be the next member of Congress from District 8. Volgy an internationally recognized author, professor and political leader, says fellow Democrats will recognize how important it is to have Weiss’ character and values representing southern Arizona in Washington.”
So, Tom Volgy, who has sucked up hundreds of thousands of S.E. Arizona Democrat dollars to squander on his losing vanity campaigns, can’t sit on his thumb and smile as becomes passe elderly semi-statesman such as now he is. Weiss has never run for nor served in public office, and has no record of political activism; she has fumbled over such fundamental questions as her place of residence and even her name. She offers no record and no program, only a history as a TV “personality”.
The Democrats of CD-8 have at least 4 other candidates more suitable and more qualified than Patty Weiss for serivce in the “People’s House”.
Keep to your books, Tom. Your time has passed.

Weiss has served the community in volunteer work her entire life. To me, that is better than a paid political whom I would really question if they actually serve our best interests, or their own.
And your petty slams show just how uninformed your are. The issues section of her website counters your positions the she ‘flounders’. Besides, Volgy got a lot more votes than was recorded thanks to voter fraud. Several election integrity groups have stacks of data and the local media has run several stories. Wake up and smell the coffee.
I do agree with you on one point. There are a lot of good candidates and I hear an independent just got in the race. My mind isn’t made up yet.
