McCain calls for $4.2 billion to Louisiana

From KLFY:

On his first visit to New Orleans since Hurricane Katrina, U-S Senator John McCain echoed President Bush’s demand that Congress send 4-point-2 (B) billion dollars in hurricane housing aid for Louisiana.

Standing in front of a house so destroyed that the back yard was visible through its walls, McCain said the devastation he saw on a morning tour of the city was “enormous.” And he said he agrees with Bush, who earlier this week visited the debris-strewn city and called for all of the 4-point-2 (B) billion to be spent in Louisiana, instead of disbursed among the hurricane-affected states as Congress has directed.
