The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) was pinning its hopes on Jack Jackson Junior. Several other Democrats are running for the seat of the two-term Republican Renzi, but Jackson was the front-runner. The National Republican Congressional Committee is keeping a "recruitment failure tally" for the DCCC, and it says as of March 10, Democrats have chalked up "30 recruitment failures in 20 districts." Rep. Rahm Emanuel (D-Ill.) chairs the DCCC, a group that recruits and helps to fund Democratic congressional candidates. The DCCC isn’t doing very well with their “chosen ones”. This after they approached him about running and getting him to resign his high paying position with the State of AZ. Phone calls to Rahm Emmaulli of the DCCC were not returned.
